National Cycle's Paladin® QuickSet™ Mount Kit uses an innovative, key-lockable mounting system that's designed for an optimal fit on each specific make and model. All moving components are made from stainless steel for years of reliable, smooth operation, and all visible metal components are either polished stainless steel or finished in bright, show-quality chrome.
The Mount Kit is designed to complete the Back Rest/Luggage Rack assembly into one complete unit.
After unlocking, just lift the levers on the bottom of the Back Rest's side plates and pull up to remove the complete assembly from the motorcycle. Now that’s easy!
NOTE: When using Cruiseliner™ Saddlebags with the QuickSet Back Rest and Luggage Rack System, you must purchase an additional Hardware Bag.

This was a perfect solution to a problem I was having.
I recently purchased and installed hardbags for my '03 VTX 1800R. The old backrest/luggage rack mount would not work with the new bags. The Paladin QuickSet Mount/Backrest/Luggage Rack all worked perfectly with the new bags. Ended up swapping some hardware and with some left-over hardware, but it fits like a dream.
